The launch of 'Mainly Motoring' brings many exciting prospects, chief among which being a new and exciting take on the automotive world, with some odd motoring-related ramblings now and then.

I wanted to take a moment to give a very warm welcome to all those who are reading! Thank you for stopping by and checking out my all-new website/portfolio/place to publish my articles (or all of the above - it's a mix of things!). This has certainly been a long time in the making: 'Mainly Motoring', a personal writing platform that I hope will be engaging, informative, witty at times, unorthodox in its approach as well.
What you can expect to find here is pure and simple. There shall be regular road tests of both modern and classic cars, the occasional write-up about the world of motorsport (especially Formula One), the odd blog entry here and there about project cars I shall be attempting to rejuvenate, and features on car shows and events that I manage to attend with fellow petrolheads and enthusiasts. In short, what I aim to do with this platform is provide you with the most informative, impartial and engaging motoring content possible.
What Can I Expect To Find At 'Mainly Motoring'?
On a consistent basis you can expect to find new road tests and general articles submitted under the 'articles' tab - do stop by and peruse features that have already been uploaded from my time at writing at HotCars. I strongly recommend checking out their site, it is a truly exciting place with riveting content that will suit all types of car enthusiasts!
Whilst you're at it, check out the 'portfolio' tab to take a read of full length feature articles that I have written for 'Straight Six', the monthly magazine for BMW Car Club Great Britain; a community of likeminded enthusiasts and a home for all-us BMW nerds, of course. This will be updated regularly as new features release, so do stay tuned for more!
But that's not all. Part of what makes the car community such a fantastic group to be a part of is its sociability. Car shows, car events, track days, road trips, the automotive world has it all. As such, from time to time there will be content uploads to the 'photography' section (hint: it might be including the posting of new photos) and, for direct engagement with readers and followers, you can check out 'Mainly Motoring' on our social media platforms which are listed under the desired tab above.
At the moment only writing and photographic content is being produced, but there are plans in the near future to begin creating videos on YouTube as well. Let us know your thoughts on what you would like to see in the comment section below of course.
